A strong commitment to learning is a recognizable characteristic of Grand Valley State University’s (GVSU) Charter Schools Office (CSO). At the GVSU CSO, we offer opportunities for school board members, school administrators, and other constituents to explore further important topics such as board governance, school policy, finance, instruction, and data for decision making.These learning opportunities include live-training, recorded events, monographs, reports, and articles.

Fundamental to our efforts to lead in learning is GVSU training facility, a modern collaborative workspace conveniently located in downtown Grand Rapids.The more than 110-year-old Grand Rapids Cycle Company was renovated and offers several large group instruction rooms, executive board rooms, and the capacity for catered events.
